Experience across complex development and infrastructure

I advise clients on managing cultural heritage within complex development and infrastructure programmes, helping teams identify risks early, develop proportionate mitigation and make robust, defensible decisions.

Alongside extensive UK work, my international experience spans cultural heritage advisory in Ireland, Southern Europe, Southern Africa, South America, the GCC and the wider Middle East, including UNESCO World Heritage Site contexts. I have worked with public and private-sector clients to manage development impacts on archaeological sites, historic buildings, cultural landscapes and wider heritage assets, in line with national, regional and international legislation and guidance.

I advise across major infrastructure, energy, road and rail, master-planning, mining and environmental projects, from desk-based assessments and historic building surveys to full environmental impact assessments (EIA), with particular focus on cultural heritage risk management, site evaluation, impact assessment and mitigation.
